The Secret Kindness Challenge
Nothing will make you happier than making someone else happy. So start this week by promising yourself you’ll do something kind for another person. It doesn’t have to be complicated or dramatic. Most of the time, it’s the small things that matter the most.
Compliment someone’s outfit. Donate to a homeless shelter. Buy someone who’s struggling a meal. Hold the door. Send a thoughtful text. Be genuinely nice to that frenemy who's always sipping the haterade (because seriously, f*ck their sh-t.) The act itself doesn’t matter as much as making the effort to be kind.
And then, after you do, keep it to yourself. Don’t take a selfie or post about it on social media. Let it be a quiet act of kindness that only you know about. It keeps your motives pure and makes your kindness truly a gift for someone else, not for praise, likes, or recognition.
Doing the right thing is never the wrong thing. And sometimes the best things we do are the ones that don’t need an audience.
